The movie they sold and the movie they made were two different films. We autopsy both — then we rewrite it live.
“Every film has two autopsies waiting.”
When a film succeeds or fails, the marketing and the script usually share a root cause: you can either say what the movie is or isn’t.
The Format
Three Acts, One Autopsy

The Pitch
What they told the audience.
The campaign teardown — trailer sequencing, spend flighting, and the movie the marketing promised.

The Machine
What the movie actually was.
The writers’-room teardown — where’s the engine, where’s the midpoint turn, what did the script refuse to commit to.

The Fix
The version where those match.
We rewrite it live, as a room — until the movie they sold and the movie they made are finally the same film.
We pick films where the commercial story and the creative story are the same story.
That’s the whole booking rule. It’s the only one we use.
